Subhash Kr. Singh is the Chief HSE & Sustainability Officer of Vedanta Oil and Gas Limited. He joined Cairn in 2002 at the West Coast operations and has since played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s operational, safety, and sustainability practices across its portfolio.

With over 30 years of experience across the oil & gas, refining, fertilizer, and petrochemical sectors, Subhash brings expertise in operations, HSE, sustainability and joint venture management.

At Vedanta Oil & Gas, he leads the Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability function, driving the company’s vision of Zero Harm, Zero Discharge and Zero Waste through a strong focus on safety leadership, environmental stewardship, and responsible business practices.

Over the course of his career, Subhash has held leadership roles across multiple disciplines, successfully driving performance improvements, operational reliability, and sustainability initiatives in complex industrial environments. He is known for his deep operational knowledge, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to embedding a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Prior to joining Cairn, Vedanta, Subhash worked with Reliance Petroleum, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals, and Enron (Dabhol). He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess and carrom, and is an avid fan of thriller movies.
